LumiNota is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and app, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. By using LumiNota, you agree to the practices described here.

To provide you with a journaling and spiritual wellness experience, we may collect:

• ✦Account information: your email address when you sign up via magic link or email and password
• ✦User content: your journal entries, angel number sightings, tarot pulls, photos, and gratitude notes — this is the core of your private practice and belongs to you
• ✦Usage data: anonymized, aggregated data about how you interact with the service, used only to improve LumiNota
• ✦Payment information: if you upgrade to LumiNota+, payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details

• ✦To create and manage your account and journal
• ✦To surface personalized patterns and insights from your own entries
• ✦To send essential service emails (magic links, receipts) and optional content (our newsletter) — you can unsubscribe from optional emails at any time
• ✦To enable anonymous sharing via Community Echoes, only when you explicitly choose to share

We never sell your data. We never share your journal entries with third parties.

Your data is stored securely on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. We strip location metadata (EXIF data) from all uploaded photos before storage. We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information. No internet service can guarantee 100% security — if you have concerns, contact us.

You own your journal entries and all content you create on LumiNota. You can request a full export of your data at any time from your profile page. You can request account deletion by contacting us — we will delete your data within 30 days. If you are located in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
